Scope of Work
1. Objective
To provide rapid fire attack, quick knock-down, and cooling through a compact, mobile water-mist firefighting vehicle, capable of responding effectively in confined areas, narrow roads, high-risk industrial zones, and early-stage fires, while minimizing water damage.
2. Vehicle & Mobility
- Compact firefighting vehicle suitable for narrow access and congested areas
- All-terrain capability (where applicable)
- On-board firefighting, rescue, and safety equipment
- Emergency warning lights, siren, and public address system
- Reflective markings and fire service livery
3. Water-Mist Firefighting System
- High-pressure water-mist system
- On-board water tank with corrosion-resistant lining
- High-pressure pump driven by PTO / independent engine
- Stainless steel / high-pressure piping & fittings
- Adjustable mist / jet / spray nozzle options
- Remote or handheld lance operation
- Rapid knock-down with minimal water consumption
4. Fire Class Coverage
Effective for:
- Class A – Solid combustible fires
- Class B – Flammable liquid surface fires
- Class C – Electrical fires (de-energized / safe distance mist application)
- Lithium-ion battery fire cooling (early stage / thermal runaway control)
- Vehicle & machinery fires

7. Manpower & Training
Trained fire crew for operation of water-mist system. Operator and crew training on:
- Vehicle operation
- Water-mist firefighting techniques
- Electrical & lithium-ion fire safety
- Maintenance and emergency troubleshooting
8. Performance & Testing
- Pump performance and pressure testing
- Spray pattern & mist density verification
- Road worthiness and brake testing
- Acceptance test as per manufacturer & fire authority norms
9. Maintenance & Support
- Preventive maintenance schedule
- Spares and consumables list
- On-site / off-site service support
- Annual Maintenance Contract (optional)
10. Standards & Compliance
The Mini Water-Mist Tender shall comply with:
- National Building Code (NBC) of India
- Relevant BIS / IS standards
- NFPA water-mist principles (where applicable)
- Automotive & pollution norms (BS-VI)
- Local Fire Authority / DGMS / Industrial Safety norms
